Luis Mendo is a Spanish-born illustrator and former art director who is currently based in the Tokyo area, working from a small studio near the city.
After roughly 20 years in Europe as an editorial designer and creative director in Spain and the Netherlands, he shifted his focus from magazine and identity design to illustration when he relocated to Japan.
