The Event Format | Design Matters 26

The event consists of talks, workshops, exhibitions, stand-ups, concerts and other networking activities. All the talks, which will be the same for the in-person and online audience, will be recorded and uploaded on Design Matters' video platform. The workshops, which will be different for the in-person and online audience, will not be recorded due to their interactive nature.

The event will revolve around four themes, which are defined together with a board of international designers and ex-speakers.

The Conference

The two-day conference features talks, hands-on workshops and a series of facilitated networking activities designed to help you connect with other designers and creatives whilst you get your fill of inspiration and new learnings.

The event starts off and ends as a one-track program, but in the middle of the day a multiple track program will be available, meaning that you can choose whether you want to watch more talks, take part in a workshop, or explore the Craft Zone where you can try out some creative activities or meet the sponsors.

All the talks revolve around defined topics that change every year. The workshops let you dig deeper into a specific technique, process, or skill that you can take home and put into practice right away. You will also have the chance to attend evening performances and parties to allow yourself to unwind and connect with other fellow designers.

Design Matters has been connecting and giving inspiration to designers from all over the world since 2015.

You'll get access to our Recordings platform containing all the talks, interviews, and performances from all previous Design Matters events - for a total of 650+ videos.

The talks and presentation slides will be uploaded right after the event, so that you can watch and rewatch what you missed, and check out the videos from the previous editions.
