Morten L. Madsen is a Danish UX designer working at Charlie Tango, a Copenhagen-based digital agency known for designing and implementing user-centric and data-driven products and services. He has a passion of bringing design methodologies and user insights into the strategy practice and help companies build more meaningful products. His 8 year career spans multiple sectors, including healthcare & retail. His interest expand from emerging technologies (such as AI, AR, and Voice), Sustainable Design and Speculative Design. Outside of work, Morten is a member of the sound collective Nai Cobra, where he explores the sounds of modern work life through experimental noise music.

Rasmus Sanko is the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Charlie Tango. With over 25 years of experience, Rasmus has a rich background in user-centric design, having worked on digital solutions across various sectors including healthcare, banking, real estate, and aviation. Before his current role, Rasmus served as the Chief Experience Officer at Charlie Tango from 2017 to 2021. His career also includes positions such as Regional Service Design Director at Mirum Agency and Digital Director at J. Walter Thompson Copenhagen. Rasmus is recognised for his contributions to ethical design in the digital space. He has worked on developing the Digital Ethics Compass, a tool designed to help companies incorporate ethical considerations into their digital product development processes. He frequently speaks at conferences and events about the intersection of digital ethics and user experience, emphasizing the critical role of ethical considerations in business and design practices.

What makes a designer in the future

This speculative design workshop invites participants to explore how emerging trends might redefine the future of design. Working in groups, participants will delve into the potential impact of current developments—ranging from AI, space exploration to Climate changes and the worlds aging population— and investigate how these evolving forces might transform what it means to be a designer and the skills, roles, responsibilities and identities of future designers.
No prior knowledge or tools are needed to participate, making this an open space for anyone curious about the future of design.
