Sophia Omarji is a Music Psychologist turned UX Researcher who specialises in understanding the emotional and cognitive drivers behind human behaviour. With a background rooted in psychology and the arts, she brings a uniquely nuanced lens to product research: identifying subtle patterns in how people think, feel, and act, and translating them into clear, strategic insights for design teams.
She is currently a UX Researcher at Miro and previously worked at Spotify, where she began her journey designing for creativity, collaboration, and meaningful user experiences at scale.
Her work sits at the intersection of research, storytelling, and human experience. Sophia also hosts The Sound Mind, a music psychology podcast exploring how music shapes emotion, memory, identity, and wellbeing, and runs music and wellbeing workshops for a variety of demographics. Through both her research and creative work, she is passionate about making human insights feel tangible, relatable, and actionable.
