From Zero to One: Building Products That Solve Real Problems

In this session, I'll talk about the mental framework and experiences I've been through that help transform concepts into impactful design experiences that users love in their day-to-day behaviors.

I'll leverage my experience in building successful AND shipping products from scratch whether it was at Grab to Canva. I’ll touch upon a few case studies such as SFPark, Grab Food, Grab Protect, Canva Docs, Canva Sheets, and more… We'll delve into user research methodologies, product and design visioning, stakeholder alignment strategies, and continuous learning for design optimization.

I will also talk about how AI played a part in my design process and the pros/cons, especially in a fast-moving organization... Let's conquer the critical challenges that drive user adoption and business success. Leave with a framework for designing products that solve real problems and gain team-wide buy-in.
