Designing a post-pandemic festival
If you’re from a Scandinavian country, you’ve mostly likely heard of Roskilde Festival. Roskilde Festival is indeed the largest music and arts festival in Northern Europe, and also one of the oldest – dating back to 1971.
The event of the pandemic forced Roskilde and many other festivals around the world to rethink what it means to organise large events that bring hundreds of thousands of people together. How do you design a post-pandemic festival? How do you make people enjoy themselves while taking care of their safety? Are there any tricks or behavioral nudges that can be used to design a music & arts festival 2.0?
In this workshop, you will be presented the challenge of designing a post-pandemic edition of the festival. The winner of the challenge will receive a very special prize!
