Please note that the workshops will not be recorded; because of their interactive nature, it will not be possible to record them.

How do I choose between Nerd Tracks? Is this something I specify ahead of time, or something that I choose during the event? A Nerd Track consists of either 2 talks OR a workshop. If you want to attend a workshop, you will have to sign up for it. You will receive an email the week before the conference, where you will be able to sign up for the workshops. Denmark has lifted all restrictions. Will it be safe? Despite the Danish Health Ministry has decided to lift all restrictions, Design Matters will STILL REQUIRE ALL PARTICIPANTS AND STAFF TO SHOW A NEGATIVE TEST OR A PROOF OF VACCINATION AT THE ENTRANCE. Those without a negative test or proof of vaccination will not be allowed to join the event.

Will fully vaccinated people also have to take a rapid test? Or is the vaccine certificate enough? We are following the Danish Health Authority's recommendations. Therefore, at the moment, we are requiring all participants and attendees to bring either a negative test or a proof of vaccination. However we are always keeping an eye on the latest news, and we are ready to change our requirements if the situation worsens. If the situation get worse, we are planning to provide a test booth outside the venue so that people can get a quick test right before the conference.

Will we have to wear masks during the event? Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory, but you are more than welcome to wear one if you prefer to. Hand sanitiser will be at everyone's disposal, and the rooms where the event takes place are well aerated and with very tall ceilings.

I don't feel like attending in-person anymore. Can I convert my ticket to a livestream one? Converting your ticket to a livestream one (and therefore getting a partial refund) is only possible in case you are not able to travel to Copenhagen due to travel or assembly restrictions. It is not possible to downgrade your ticket for personal reasons. Read more about our COVID-19 policy here.
