THE FUTURES PROGRAM - MASTERCLASSES

The Futures Program is a series of one-day, in-person masterclasses hosted by Design Matters. Each masterclass day is an invitation to deep-dive into one of our Future Themes—Steps Forward, Design in Democracy, and Equipping New Craft—through a dynamic mix of talks, hands-on workshops, and collaborative ideation.

Inspired by ideas sparked at DM25, these masterclasses offer a unique opportunity to learn directly from DM25 speakers, while building up the skills and perspectives needed to take the lead in reimagining the role of designers in our future.

The Futures Program is proudly presented in collaboration with Berlin’s local design industry, with special thanks to our partners, Babbel and Zalando. As hosts and contributors, both teams have played a key role in shaping the masterclasses—bringing in their expertise, spaces, and voices to help us build a truly immersive experience.

Masterclasses will be held at the Babbel and Zalando offices, with speakers and facilitators from both companies featured throughout the program.
